I am a reporter at The Gainesville Sun, a newspaper in north central Florida, and a former editor of The Independent Florida Alligator.
This site doubles as an online portfolio and a hodgepodge blog, where I post about my far-too-infrequent travels and University of Florida football and offer my observations of the journalism industry from the low end of the totem pole (for now).
Other than my aforementioned profession and all the great things that come with it, my life’s passions break down pretty simply: Morrissey, writing, reading, traveling, college football, building up a library of records and books, Coca-Cola, Web design, Associated Press style, playing tennis, visiting stadiums, Manchester United Football Club, and Nike Air Max 1 tennis shoes.
